Flavio Bolsonaro's commanding position in this Goiás first-round market stems from his status as the Liberal Party's presidential nominee and primary vehicle for Bolsonarismo in a conservative, agribusiness-heavy state. Traders appear to price in vote consolidation among right-leaning voters ahead of the October 4 vote, bolstered by his national campaign launch, family endorsement dynamics, and recent polling momentum in key regions. Ronaldo Caiado's local governorship and residual support create the main competitive pressure, while Lula trails significantly. Late shifts from undecided voters, turnout variations in rural areas, or stronger Caiado mobilization could still narrow the gap, though current pricing reflects limited perceived upside for challengers.
