Punjab Kings top the IPL 2026 points table with nine points from five matches, including a dominant seven-wicket chase of 195 against Mumbai Indians two days ago, fueling their 23% implied probability as trader consensus favorite amid Ricky Ponting's emphasis on team culture and explosive batting depth from one to eight. Royal Challengers Bengaluru trail closely at second with eight points and a superior net run rate of +1.171 after surging past Lucknow Super Giants, leveraging defending champion momentum from Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar's form to hold 22%. Rajasthan Royals sit third with strong early wins, bolstered by auction buys like Ravi Bishnoi, ensuring the top trio's bunched probabilities reflect a fiercely competitive league phase where playoffs paths remain wide open.
