BFP leads the 2026 Bangsamoro Parliament election market at 56.5% against UBJP at 43%, reflecting trader views on the tight contest ahead of the September 14 vote in BARMM. Recent defections of local officials and legislators from UBJP to the newer BFP, including high-profile moves in Maguindanao areas, have strengthened the latter’s position as a party aligned with national government priorities. UBJP retains its core MILF-affiliated base and earlier Comelec designation as dominant majority party, while both compete for party-list seats in this first regular parliamentary poll. Ongoing realignments, unopposed district candidacies, and the 45-day campaign period could shift momentum, with low probabilities on postponement or other parties underscoring the two-way race.
