**Recent polling trends favor Vänsterpartiet (V) over Miljöpartiet (MP) in the September 13, 2026, Swedish parliamentary election.** Aggregated surveys from the final days show V typically at 7–8% and MP at 6–8%, with V ahead in most releases such as Demoskop (7.5% vs. 5.6%), Novus (6.6% vs. 6.4%), Infostat (8.2% vs. 7.3%), and Ipsos (7.6% vs. 6.8%). MP recorded a notable drop in one late Novus poll, while V support has remained steadier. Both parties compete within the centre-left opposition bloc alongside the Social Democrats and Centre Party, but V’s positioning has translated into a polling edge that underpins the 71% trader-implied probability of V receiving more votes. The overall election race between blocs remains close, with limited last-minute shifts specifically between these two smaller parties. Resolution depends on final certified results.
