Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet maintaining a modest but consistent edge over Kristdemokraterna, with 30-day averages placing V around 7.7% and KD near 6.6%. This positioning reflects V's steadier support among left-leaning voters amid bloc competition between the red-green opposition and the Tidö parties, while KD has gained modestly in some late surveys without closing the gap. The narrow overall race between blocs has kept attention on turnout and threshold dynamics, yet the party-level data has translated into trader consensus favoring V receiving more votes. No major last-minute events have altered these relative standings in the final days.
