Recent Swedish polling averages ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election place Miljöpartiet (MP) at roughly 7.4-7.5% support, ahead of Kristdemokraterna (KD) at 6.5-6.6%, a gap reflected across multiple survey firms in early September. This positioning stems from MP's steadier performance among left-leaning and urban voters compared with KD's narrower base within the right-wing Tidö bloc, where smaller parties face greater competition for seats. The election's proximity leaves limited time for late shifts, and no major scandals or policy reversals have altered the relative standing of these two smaller parties in the final weeks. Trader consensus on MP outperforming KD aligns closely with this evidence from repeated surveys.
