Recent Swedish polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show Centre Party (C) support averaging near 7.5% compared with Miljöpartiet (MP) near 7.3-7.4%, with C registering modest gains in several July-September surveys while MP has remained largely stable. Aggregates from Novus, Demoskop, and others indicate C benefiting from its positioning on rural issues, taxes, and potential kingmaker role in bloc negotiations, narrowing the gap from earlier in the cycle. The race between the two remains tight, but trader consensus reflects C's slight edge in the most recent data and historical patterns of late swings favoring established centrist options over the Greens.
