Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar have repeatedly reaffirmed the November 19, 2026 release date through multiple 2026 earnings calls and shareholder updates, with CEO Strauss Zelnick tying company guidance directly to the launch. Rockstar North's Rob Nelson echoed this in an August Famitsu interview, while the August 27 Netflix "Extended Look" showcased polished, in-game footage that boosted anticipation without any delay signals. Pre-orders opened in June, and the game sits just over two months out, making another postponement historically unlikely this close to launch. Trader consensus at 93.5% for no further delay reflects these concrete commitments and marketing momentum, though a last-minute quality issue—given Rockstar's perfectionist track record—remains the main wildcard that could still shift sentiment.
