The FIFA World Cup most assists market reflects a tightly contested field, with Kevin De Bruyne holding a modest edge at 46.5% implied probability while a broad cluster of midfielders and wingers sits between 37% and 39.5%. This competitiveness arises from multiple qualified nations fielding creative players in attacking systems that emphasize progressive passes, through balls, and set-piece delivery, combined with comparable recent club and international form. Factors including expected starting roles, historical assist rates in major tournaments, team depth, and the unpredictable nature of group-stage and knockout matches keep several candidates viable, as trader consensus prices in the potential for any one of these profiles to lead depending on minutes played and match outcomes.
