Mercedes leads the 2026 constructors’ championship by 122 points with 468 after 13 rounds, fueled by nine grand prix victories and consistent double points finishes from Kimi Antonelli and George Russell under the new regulations. Antonelli’s seven wins and superior race pace have anchored the team’s advantage, while rivals Ferrari and McLaren have secured occasional victories but trail significantly in total points. Recent upgrades from McLaren and Ferrari have narrowed the on-track gap in select events, yet Mercedes’ early-season dominance and larger points buffer sustain the overwhelming trader consensus. A late-season engine or aero update from competitors, combined with reliability setbacks or strategic missteps for the Silver Arrows, remains the primary path for any shift in the final ten rounds.
