CeeDee Lamb has opened the 2026 season with 39 receptions through five games, leading the NFL while posting a 91.0 PFF grade and commanding roughly 28% of the Cowboys' targets. His volume spiked dramatically with a franchise-record 17 catches against Houston before a minor quad bruise limited him to two receptions versus Tampa Bay; reports indicate the injury is not serious, positioning him to return for the Week 6 matchup at Green Bay. As Dallas's clear WR1 opposite quarterback Dak Prescott, Lamb benefits from consistent usage and red-zone opportunities, though his durability track record and the team's 2-3 start introduce variables around snap counts and offensive script later in the 17-game schedule.
