Houston Gaines secured 66.9% and Pamela DeLancy obtained 54.4% in the May 19 Republican and Democratic primaries for Georgia’s 10th congressional district. Both candidates exceeded the 50% threshold required under state rules for an outright nomination, avoiding the June 16 runoff. Certified results from the open-seat contest, following incumbent Mike Collins’s Senate bid, established clear first-round majorities without further balloting. Trader consensus at 84.5% on an outright first-round winner aligns with these verified primary outcomes and the absence of any subsequent procedural challenges.
