Defending champions Argentina command 76.5% implied probability as Group J winners, fueled by their No. 3 FIFA ranking, unbeaten qualifying run, and squad depth featuring Messi, Álvarez, and De Paul, despite recent muscular setbacks for Lautaro Martínez (recurring calf issue last week) and minor concerns for Romero and Dibu Martínez that appear resolvable before June 16 opener versus Algeria in Kansas City. Austria's 16.5% reflects their top-25 standing, Rangnick's high-pressing system proven in a dominant UEFA group (22 goals scored), and March 5-1 friendly win over Ghana, positioning them as credible challengers. Algeria (5.9%) and debutants Jordan (2.5%) lag due to lower rankings (28th and 63rd), with Algeria hit by goalkeeper Anthony Mandrea's fresh shoulder injury and Jordan managing Al-Naimat's ongoing ACL recovery.
