FalleN, the 35-year-old FURIA in-game leader and two-time major winner, announced in April 2026 his retirement at year-end after more than two decades in Counter-Strike. Through October, FURIA posted strong but title-less results in S-Tier events, including runner-up finishes at IEM Cologne Major 2026 and IEM Kraków 2026 plus a third place at StarSeries Fall 2026, alongside several fifth-to-eighth placements. Recent map performances show inconsistent ratings around 0.9, with the team facing stiff competition from squads like Vitality, MOUZ, and G2. The compressed schedule remaining before retirement, combined with expected roster adjustments, has shaped trader consensus that an S-Tier victory for FalleN this year remains unlikely.
