Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” holds a clear lead in the VMA Best Pop market at 67% implied probability due to its massive commercial dominance and Swift’s nine total nominations, second only to Madonna. The track from her *Life of a Showgirl* album topped the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks, set streaming records, and earned Video of the Year and multiple technical nods for its elaborate, Shakespeare-inspired visuals. With the Sept. 27 ceremony approaching and fan voting closing Sept. 25, trader sentiment reflects Swift’s strong industry narrative and historical VMA success. Lower odds for Sabrina Carpenter’s “House Tour” (14.5%), Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” (7%), and others align with their solid but less dominant chart trajectories and fewer precursor signals in the pop category.
