Vänsterpartiet has maintained a consistent polling lead over Miljöpartiet ahead of the September 13, 2026, Swedish parliamentary election, with recent surveys placing V around 7-8 percent and MP near 6 percent. Exit polls and preliminary counts from the election authority confirm this gap, reflecting V's stronger mobilization among left-leaning voters and steadier support in urban and northern districts compared to MP's more variable environmental focus. Trader consensus at 99 percent for more votes to V arises from these repeated indicators and the absence of late shifts favoring MP. While final certification of remaining ballots or minor procedural adjustments could theoretically narrow the margin, historical patterns and current tallies indicate the outcome is unlikely to reverse.
