Recent polling averages place Vänsterpartiet and Centerpartiet within a percentage point of each other, with both hovering near 7-8% support ahead of the September 13 vote. Social Democrats' declining numbers have shifted some voters toward both parties, while bloc competition and coalition maneuvering keep their relative standings fluid. Centerpartiet's emphasis on liberal economic policies and potential cross-bloc arrangements provides one edge, whereas Vänsterpartiet draws strength from left-leaning mobilization on welfare and migration issues. Late campaign events, turnout among smaller-party supporters, and final poll movements could easily determine which party finishes ahead in the Riksdag tally.
