This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus favors Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 35% implied probability for NBA Finals MVP after the Thunder clinched the West's No. 1 seed with a 64-18 record in the regular-season finale on April 13, buoyed by his dominant MVP campaign—he topped player polls and ESPN mock ballots with near-unanimous support. Victor Wembanyama follows at 21%, reflecting the Spurs' surprise No. 2 West seed (62-20) and his late surge past Shai in Kia MVP ladders, including DPOY favoritism amid blocks and efficiency gains. Jaylen Brown (13.5%) and Jayson Tatum (12.5%) gain from Boston's No. 2 East standing as playoff-tested contenders, while Nikola Jokic (12%) and Cade Cunningham (11%) represent Nuggets and Pistons' No. 1 East positioning, highlighting paths through loaded brackets ahead of April 18 first-round tipoffs.
