This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026 MLB regular season with the most intentional walks. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the player with more walks during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher on base percentage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the 2026 MLB season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available MLB statistics for completed games. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player had more walks within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Yordan Alvarez and Nick Kurtz lead MLB with nine intentional walks apiece through mid-June 2026, followed closely by Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani at eight, reflecting a bunched group of power hitters who draw frequent pitches around them in scoring situations. Alvarez benefits from the Astros' lineup protection and consistent run-production threats, while Kurtz's elite on-base skills and Athletics' thinner supporting cast amplify opportunities for opponents to issue free passes. Soto, Ohtani, and emerging options like James Wood maintain pressure through strong recent form and high home-run rates that force defensive adjustments. The tight market pricing stems from this parity among feared sluggers, where small edges in plate appearances, lineup construction, or late-season schedule strength could swing the final totals.
