Bryan Reynolds of the Pittsburgh Pirates holds a clear edge in the MLB doubles race with 39 through mid-September, outpacing Alec Burleson (37), Rafael Devers (36), and Wilyer Abreu (36) amid a compressed final stretch of the regular season. His consistent extra-base production, including multiple two-baggers in recent games against Kansas City and Milwaukee, has widened the gap as fewer contests remain. Traders view his pace and remaining schedule as decisive advantages, reflected in the heavy consensus around his outcome. Competitors like Yordan Alvarez, Juan Soto, and Riley Greene trail by larger margins with limited opportunities to close ground, while factors such as lineup position, opponent pitching, and park effects continue to shape incremental changes in the standings.
