The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, given by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor the best in American prime time television programming aired between June 1, 2025, until May 31, 2026. The awards ceremony is scheduled for September 14, 2026, at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. This market will resolve according to the number of Emmys won by "Pluribus," or by people for their roles in "Pluribus," awarded during the live Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, expected to be held on September 14, 2026. Awards presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards (September 5–6, 2026) will not count toward this market's resolution. Each award will count once even if it has multiple recipients. If the Primetime Emmys are partially awarded by September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of awards won by the specified show up until that point. If, for any reason, no winners are declared by September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Emmys, including data from their websites (e.g. https://theemmys.tv/, https://www.televisionacademy.com/) and the live broadcast of the award ceremony, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Pluribus**, Vince Gilligan’s freshman Apple TV+ sci-fi drama, earned 18 Emmy nominations in July, including Outstanding Drama Series, lead actress for Rhea Seehorn, supporting performances, writing, directing, and multiple technical categories. Traders see 2-3 total wins as the most likely outcome because the series has already secured several creative arts victories in sound, music, and production design, while major-category prospects remain constrained by heavy competition from The Pitt (25 noms) and Hacks (24 noms) plus established drama frontrunners. Seehorn’s earlier Golden Globe win and strong critical reception provide momentum, yet first-season shows historically struggle for top prizes. With the main ceremony just days away on September 14, any late guild or precursor signals could nudge the 61% market-implied odds for 2-3 wins.
