**Forgotten Island**, DreamWorks Animation’s 50th feature released September 25, opened to strong early critical support after positive festival screenings and a 100% Tomatometer at embargo lift. With 93 reviews now in, the score sits at 95% (average 7.9/10), reflecting broad praise for its colorful visuals, emotional core about childhood friendship, and fresh use of Filipino folklore. A handful of mixed notices citing an overstuffed plot have nudged the percentage down from its initial peak. The score is likely to stabilize quickly as additional reviews arrive, with limited room for major movement given the volume already published and the film’s generally favorable Metacritic (73) and audience CinemaScore (“A”).
