KATSEYE’s WILD EP, released August 14 via HYBE x Geffen, drives the near-certain market consensus through robust first-week projections of 150,000–170,000 equivalent album units fueled by pre-release buzz, strong streaming for lead singles like “Animal,” and the group’s rising global profile following earlier hits. Midweek Billboard 200 forecasts reinforce its frontrunner status for the chart dated August 29, outpacing recent releases such as Stray Kids’ THIS & THAT and Charli xcx’s Music, Fashion, Film. An upset remains unlikely absent major tracking shifts or surprise competition, though entertainment chart outcomes can fluctuate with last-minute streaming spikes or data revisions before final Billboard tallying.
