Idaho voters will weigh in via a non-binding advisory question on the November 3, 2026 ballot, selecting from six historic firearms including the Winchester Model 1873, Winchester Model 1894, Colt Peacemaker, Colt M1911, M1 Garand, and Remington Model 700. Trader odds remain closely balanced because the measure carries no legal force and has generated minimal organized advocacy or polling since House Bill 932 passed unanimously and was signed in spring 2026. Winchester variants lead slightly in market pricing, consistent with their longstanding association with Western expansion themes popular in the state. Low overall visibility and the advisory format sustain even consensus, though increased election-season attention or any late additions to the candidate list could create clearer separation among outcomes.
