Recent actions include the September 15 addition of nine drug manufacturers to the MFN framework, a direct call to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang dismissing AI safety concerns, and the September 12–13 Ireland trip featuring business roundtables. Traders monitor companies in autos, semiconductors, energy, and pharma most exposed to Section 301/338 duties, retaliatory measures from Canada, or administration investment announcements, as historical patterns show Trump frequently names specific firms during tariff, supply-chain, or government-stake discussions.
