This market will resolve to the listed hero banned the most times during The International 2026 (TI 2026), originally scheduled for August 13 – August 23, 2026. Only completed games will be considered for the purposes of this market, including forfeits in games that start. A ban does not count if the game does not start. In the case of a tie, this market will resolve to the hero with the higher win percentage. In case a tie persists, this market will resolve to the hero with the higher pick rate. In case a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the hero whose name comes first alphabetically. If a game does not complete for any reason, it will not be considered for the purposes of this market. If the competition is cancelled, postponed after September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the results of The International 2026 are not determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source for this market will be official information from Liquipedia. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Treant Protector commands near-universal draft priority at The International 2026 because its Living Armor global sustain, laning pressure, and structure protection have defined the post-7.41e meta, producing a 100% contest rate and 101 bans across 109 group-stage matches while posting an 87.5–88% win rate on the rare occasions it slips through. Professional teams consistently value denying this versatile hard support over alternatives such as Keeper of the Light or Earth Spirit, reflecting sustained strategic dominance despite prior nerfs. Late main-event adaptations, further balance patches, or emerging counters could still shift priorities if teams adjust their drafting patterns or the hero pool evolves.
