Recent polling shows the Social Democrats slipping to the 27-30% range in September surveys, down from stronger mid-year figures, amid a narrowing bloc gap as the right-wing Tidö parties close in ahead of the September 13 election. Latest Novus and other readings indicate the Liberals nearing or clearing the 4% threshold, which could bolster right-bloc seat math and limit opposition gains. Voter shifts toward the Centre and Left parties have also contributed to the Social Democrats' softer numbers, with overall left-bloc support now hovering near or just above 50% in several trackers. These late-campaign trends explain trader emphasis on outcomes below 110 seats.

This market will resolve according to the number of seats won by the Swedish Social Democratic Party (S) in the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) as a result of this election.
Seats will be counted only where the Swedish Election Authority attributes them to the Swedish Social Democratic Party, officially registered as Arbetarepartiet-Socialdemokraterna (S). Seats attributed to another party or electoral designation will not count, regardless of electoral cooperation, endorsements, coalition agreements, or subsequent parliamentary-group arrangements. If S formally merges into a successor party before the election and does not contest separately, seats officially attributed to that successor party will count.
If the results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket.
This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the Swedish Social Democratic Party (S) in this election.
This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Swedish government, specifically the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) (https://www.val.se/).
