This market will resolve to "Yes" if SMER (Smer – sociálna demokracia, Direction – Social Democracy) controls a greater number of seats in the National Council than any other party after the results of the 2023 Slovakian parliamentary election are finalized. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If the results of this election aren't known by March 31, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50.

The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity official information from the Slovakian government and/or information published through the official website of Slovakia's Ministry of the Interior (https://www.minv.sk/?ministry-of-interior) will be used.


Will SMER win a plurality?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Progresívne Slovensko (Progressive Slovakia) gets over 18% of votes for the National Council in the 2023 Slovak parliamentary elections scheduled for September 30. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If the results of this election aren't known by March 31, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50.

The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity official information from the Slovakian government and/or information published through the official website of Slovakia's Ministry of the Interior (https://www.minv.sk/?ministry-of-interior) will be used.

Will PS win over 18% of votes?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Hlas (Hlas – sociálna demokracia, Voice – Social Democracy) gets over 10% of votes for the National Council in the 2023 Slovak parliamentary elections scheduled for September 30. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If the results of this election aren't known by March 31, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50.

If the results are not known definitively by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".

In the event of a tie between multiple parties for the most seats won, this market will resolve in favor of the party that received a greater number of valid votes. In the event that results in a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the party whose listed abbreviation appears first in alphabetical order.

This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party in the Slovenian Parliament.

This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Slovenian government, specifically the Slovenian Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) (dvk-rs.si/).

Note: If a listed party contests the election as part of a jointly listed coalition with one or more parties not listed in this market, the market corresponding to the listed party will represent the coalition and will count all seats won by the coalition collectively.
