Early festival buzz around Julianne Moore’s lead performance in Jesse Eisenberg’s *The Debut* has positioned her as the market frontrunner, with recent Telluride acclaim highlighting a transformative, career-highlight turn that aligns with Academy preferences for showy dramatic work. Inde Navarrette’s acclaimed breakout in the horror hit *Obsession* keeps her in contention at a lower implied probability, while Sandra Hüller, Renate Reinsve, and others draw support from announced projects and prior critical profiles. With the 2027 ceremony still months away and voting far off, the field remains highly competitive, driven by release timing, precursor momentum, and guild signals rather than locked consensus.
