The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.A deep 2026 NHL Draft class has created a tightly bunched Calder Trophy market for the 2026-27 season, with Alexander Command, Gavin McKenna, Markus Ruck, and Ivar Stenberg emerging as the early consensus frontrunners according to trader pricing. McKenna, selected first overall by Toronto after a standout NCAA season at Penn State, brings dynamic forward play and immediate lineup expectations, while Command's Devils selection and Ruck's projected role add comparable upside. Stenberg and other high picks like Anton Frondell and Cole Hutson factor into the mix through strong junior or international track records and favorable team situations. The bunched odds reflect the absence of a clear standout, uncertain rookie ice time across contending and rebuilding clubs, and the typical volatility of first-year NHL performance.
