Victor Wembanyama's length and rim protection create challenging defensive matchups that could suppress high-volume scoring, yet the series' pace and transition opportunities favor guards like Brunson or supporting scorers such as OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns. The regular season's record pace of 40-point games and recent playoff form from both teams' stars increase implied probabilities, while a shorter series or tighter defensive adjustments in later games could limit single-game explosions. Historical Finals trends show star-driven outbursts remain common even in contested matchups.
