Mild weather patterns, including persistent cloud cover from a recent weak trough and light southerly winds limiting solar heating, kept daytime highs below seasonal norms of 28–30°C. This strong positioning reflects skin-in-the-game alignment with verified observations released early May 11. Realistic challenges are minimal but could arise from rare HKO revisions due to quality control checks on secondary stations or metadata errors, though historical precedent shows such adjustments affect less than 0.5% of daily records.
