Rockstar Games' official November 19, 2026, release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, reaffirmed in late 2025 earnings updates, anchors trader sentiment at 90.5% against another postponement. The studio has already absorbed two prior delays to prioritize polish on the Vice City-set open-world title, while pre-order windows and an extended Netflix look scheduled for August 27 signal active marketing momentum. With launch roughly three months away, further slips would disrupt Take-Two's fiscal calendar and cannibalize holiday sales expectations. Historical precedent shows Rockstar rarely alters dates this close to release without major red flags, though unforeseen technical hurdles or scope creep could still surface and test the consensus.
