Carlos Alcaraz holds the strongest position in the 2026 US Open winner market as the two-time defending champion returning from a multi-month wrist injury, with his recent straight-sets victories underscoring restored form and experience on hard courts. Alexander Zverev sits second after Jannik Sinner’s knee withdrawal elevated him to top seed, bolstered by his French Open title and survival through grueling early matches despite a challenging draw. Ben Shelton and Learner Tien reflect American depth and recent momentum, while Daniil Medvedev and others trail due to inconsistent results or tougher paths. Trader consensus incorporates current Round of 16 matchups, injury recoveries, and historical Grand Slam performance at Flushing Meadows.
