France and Spain meet in the 2026 World Cup semifinal at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 14, with both sides entering as European powerhouses on strong runs. France remains unbeaten in the tournament and seeks a third consecutive final appearance behind Kylian Mbappé and supporting attackers, while Spain arrives with momentum from its Euro 2024 triumph and contributions from emerging talents such as Lamine Yamal. Recent quarterfinal results, squad depth, and the neutral-site setting shape expectations for match flow, goal-scoring patterns, and key moments that announcers typically highlight. Travel, rest from prior rounds, and the physical demands of a high-stakes knockout fixture add variables that influence game tempo and potential turning points.
