Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors Robert De Zerbi at 52.5% implied probability as Tottenham Hotspur's next permanent manager, driven by the Italian's availability following his abrupt Marseille sacking after just five Ligue 1 matches and strong prior Brighton success against Spurs in the Premier League. Ange Postecoglou faces mounting pressure after Tottenham's dismal run, including a 1-0 derby loss to Chelsea on December 8 that left them 14th in the table amid defensive woes and no wins in five. Ryan Mason (23.1%) gains traction as a familiar interim option from 2023 with academy ties, while Edin Terzic (19.7%) appeals for his Borussia Dortmund youth development pedigree. Pochettino (13.5%) lingers due to his storied Spurs tenure, though his USMNT role complicates a return. Recent board deliberations and De Zerbi links via Italian media have sharpened these odds.
