The wide-open MLB runs leader market reflects a tight race among contenders with roughly a month remaining, as no player holds a commanding edge in total runs amid injuries and variable playing time. Aaron Judge’s limited 231 at-bats after a rib injury and recent return keep his implied probability low despite elite on-base skills, while Kyle Schwarber benefits from consistent power production and 541 plate appearances but trails in overall volume. Drake Baldwin’s inclusion highlights emerging catchers gaining traction through steady lineup spots. Key differentiators include remaining schedule strength, health status, leadoff or high-OBP positioning that maximizes scoring opportunities, and speed elements that convert hits into extra runs. Trader consensus prices these factors as evenly matched across the field.
