Subsequent diplomacy has remained largely indirect through mediators such as Pakistan and Oman, with intermittent exchanges of proposals and limited military incidents continuing into early June. Vance has publicly stated that the sides are very close to a long-term memorandum of understanding on nuclear limits and regional security, while noting the timeline could range from days to months. No additional high-level Vance meetings with Iranian counterparts have been scheduled or confirmed in recent weeks.
