Yujin Kim enters this ITF W15 Fukui round-of-16 match as the clear favorite due to her higher WTA singles ranking near 780 and eighth-seed status, giving her an edge in experience and consistency on outdoor hard courts against fellow South Korean Eunchae Kim. Eunchae has shown solid recent form by advancing through qualifying and posting a straight-sets first-round win, yet her lower ranking limits her overall pedigree at this level. Both players compete primarily on the ITF circuit with limited head-to-head history, so surface familiarity, current fitness, and match rhythm on hard courts will shape the outcome in this early-round encounter.
