Dayeon Back holds a clear edge entering this ITF Changwon singles match, ranked around 330 with a career-high near 295 and multiple recent ITF titles, while Su Jeong Jang sits at 707 despite a career peak of 114. Back’s stronger 2026 hard-court form and consistent results on the Korean circuit contrast with Jang’s more inconsistent recent singles outings. The pair last met in 2021 with Jang taking the win, yet Back’s improved movement and baseline consistency now favor her in a potential rematch. Both players are familiar with the hard courts typical of Changwon events, where rest, recent doubles play, and home-soil comfort could influence stamina in what shapes up as a competitive lower-tier encounter.
