Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone, expected to debut as the iPhone Ultra or iPhone Fold at the September 9 event alongside iPhone 18 Pro models, drives current trader focus on announced pricing. Consistent analyst reports from Ming-Chi Kuo, Mark Gurman, and TrendForce peg the starting price at $2,000–$2,500 for the book-style device with a 5.5-inch cover screen and 7.8-inch inner OLED display, positioning it well above current flagships and Samsung’s latest foldables. Supply-chain updates confirm mass production is underway with limited initial volumes, while design features such as MagSafe support and potential Touch ID rather than Face ID reinforce the premium positioning. The September 9 keynote and any official pricing disclosure represent the immediate catalyst that could shift sentiment or resolve related markets.
