Colombia and Costa Rica meet in an international friendly at Bogotá’s Estadio El Campín on June 1, where trader consensus reflects a tightly balanced contest. Colombia’s historical edge in head-to-head results, including a 3-0 Copa América win in 2024, combines with home conditions at altitude to support their slight lead in implied probability. At the same time, Costa Rica’s compact defensive structure and counter-attacking threat have produced competitive results against stronger CONCACAF and South American sides in recent qualifiers and friendlies. Limited recent form data for both squads ahead of World Cup preparations, along with the low-stakes nature of the fixture, keeps the three outcomes clustered within a narrow range as traders weigh home advantage against the potential for a resilient away performance or stalemate.
