T1 and Dplus KIA have advanced to the upper bracket final of the double-elimination EWC 2026 Korea Qualifier on May 25 (Bo5), positioning them as frontrunners for one of two LCK slots to the main event alongside auto-qualified Gen.G. Recent May 12 results saw T1 dominate BNK FearX 2-0 after the latter's early upset over KT Rolster, while Dplus edged Hanwha Life Esports 2-1, dropping HLE to losers' bracket Round 2 on May 19 against lower survivors. BNK FearX also remains alive in losers'. Trader consensus reflects T1's unbeaten winners' path and strong form from LCK Round 1 seeding, with HLE's experience keeping them competitive despite the setback; early exits for KT, BRION, Nongshim RedForce, and DRX opened paths for underdogs.
