Lula holds a dominant position in Rio Grande do Norte first-round voting intentions, with recent state polls showing him at 54-57% support compared to single-digit or low-20s figures for rivals such as Flávio Bolsonaro. This reflects longstanding PT strength in the Northeast, where regional economic policies and incumbency advantages have sustained high vote shares. Trader consensus at 97.1% for Lula aligns with these patterns and the limited movement in polling averages over recent months. A late surge by candidates like Augusto Cury or Ronaldo Caiado, a major scandal, or sharply higher turnout among opposition voters could narrow the gap, though current evidence indicates few near-term catalysts capable of shifting the outcome before the October 4 election.
