Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in Mato Grosso do Sul first-round polling, with recent Real Time Big Data surveys showing him at 43% against Lula at 33% and all other candidates in single digits. This positioning reflects the state's agricultural economy and voter alignment with PL candidates, reinforced by local backing for Governor Eduardo Riedel and consolidation of Bolsonarista support following Jair Bolsonaro's endorsement. Fragmented opposition from names including Ronaldo Caiado, Renan Santos, Romeu Zema, and Augusto Cury limits any unified challenge. Trader consensus prices this outcome near-certain, though shifts in undecided voters, turnout differentials, or late campaign developments before the October 4 vote could still alter the result.
