This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed team makes the 2025–26 NHL Playoffs. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” A team will be considered to have made the Playoffs if it qualifies for the postseason bracket under the official rules of the NHL for the 2025–26 season. Qualification through any officially recognized NHL format (including Wild Card berths) will count. If it becomes impossible for the listed team to qualify for the Playoffs based on the rules of the NHL (e.g. the team is mathematically eliminated), this market will resolve immediately to “No.” The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. With roughly two weeks left in the 2025-26 regular season ending April 16, NHL playoff berths remain undecided for several bubble teams amid tight wild card races, driving trader focus on late surges and tiebreakers like regulation wins (ROW). In the East, Columbus Blue Jackets cling to the second wild card spot, two points ahead of Ottawa Senators, Detroit Red Wings, and Philadelphia Flyers—who hold games in hand—while Boston Bruins lead the first wild card by four; Pittsburgh Penguins trail New York Islanders by one point for second in the Metropolitan but with a game in hand, hinging on Monday's pivotal matchup. Western wild cards Utah Mammoth and Nashville Predators hold slim leads over Los Angeles Kings, Seattle Kraken, St. Louis Blues, and San Jose Sharks, the latter with three games in hand. Recent developments include New York Rangers' elimination, Vegas Golden Knights' coaching switch to John Tortorella post-Cassidy firing, and injuries to Colorado's Cale Makar (upper body) and Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby (day-to-day, practiced fully). Remaining schedules, head-to-heads, and rest advantages will dictate final standings.
