Early-month cold fronts on March 2 triggered showers with 30mm locally, followed by upper-air disturbances on March 3-4 delivering over 100mm across Kowloon, Tseung Kwan O, and Lantau amid thunderstorms, supplemented by lighter rain patches on March 10, 17, 20-21, 27, 29, and 30. Accumulated daily totals solidify this positioning, with resolution imminent per HKO's official "Total Rainfall (mm)" figure. Only a rare data correction or audit discrepancy could challenge it, though none is indicated.
