This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Nasdaq 100 (NDX) on the final trading day of December 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the final trading day of the month is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/%5ENDX/history, published under "Historical Prices."The Nasdaq 100 index closed March 27, 2026, near 23,133 after a sharp 9% pullback from mid-month highs above 24,200, fueled by surging oil prices amid Iran conflict escalation—sparking energy sector rotation—and the Federal Reserve's March 18 decision to hold the federal funds rate steady at 3.50%-3.75% for the second consecutive meeting amid sticky inflation. This tempers near-term momentum despite robust AI-driven revenue trends in mega-caps like Nvidia and Microsoft, where analysts project 14-15% earnings growth for 2026 supporting year-end targets of 28,000-30,000. Traders eye Q1 big tech earnings from mid-April and Nasdaq's accelerated IPO inclusion policy for faster addition of large-cap listings like potential SpaceX.
