This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus heavily favors Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as Finals MVP at 56.5% implied probability, reflecting the top-seeded Thunder's decisive 108-90 Game 1 rout of the Lakers in Western Conference semifinals, building on their defending champion status and Shai's playoff-leading PER of 37.4 through early rounds. Victor Wembanyama's 24.5% share stems from the Spurs' dominant 38-point Game 2 blowout over Minnesota to even their series, setting up a potential high-stakes Western finals clash. East contenders Jalen Brunson (19.3%) benefits from the Knicks' 2-0 command over Philadelphia, highlighted by his 35-point outing, while Jalen Duren (18.4%) gains from the No. 1 Pistons' 111-101 Game 1 edge versus Cleveland amid Cade Cunningham's playmaking.
