Mohamed Salah’s confirmed departure from Liverpool as a free agent at the end of the 2025-26 season has intensified interest from clubs across multiple leagues. The Saudi Pro League’s leading position reflects aggressive pursuit by PIF-backed sides like Al-Ittihad, offering historic salaries that align with the league’s strategy to attract top talent. Egyptian Premier League links stem from Salah’s national-team roots and potential homecoming appeal, though they trail due to lower financial packages. MLS options, including Inter Miami, draw on expansion ambitions and U.S. market growth but face competition from higher European or Middle Eastern bids. European leagues such as the Süper Lig, Bundesliga, and La Liga register lower implied probabilities amid reports of ongoing talks with Turkish clubs like Fenerbahce, where salary and competitive fit remain secondary to lucrative Saudi proposals. Recent comments from Salah about evaluating offers ahead of the World Cup underscore the fluid situation, with market pricing reflecting trader assessment of financial incentives versus playing ambitions.
